New Art: X-Files

This piece was my first real attempt that I was satisfied with at painting an actual portrait of a person (or two), and as such, this is nearly identical to my reference. I initially had intended for the piece to come out in color (which I painted most of it in) but my novice color skills forced me to do it monotone. I decided to paint Scully and Mulder because when I was growing up I remember my Dad watching the X-Files quite a bit.

I think this piece took me around 13 hours to complete... most of the time being spent making mistakes XD.
